Teaching Philosophy

I want to be a teacher so that I can be a voice for those where their voice may not be heard. I want to be an activist for safer schools, mental health resources, and educational inequity. Learning is something that is so important to everyone. Knowledge is wealth and our students deserve to be rich with it. Our students also deserve to have a teacher that cares for them. I believe that I can offer a safe and enriching environment for my students.

About Me

My name is Kaitlyn Cantavespre and I am a senior in the College of Education at Auburn University. I am currently pursuing my degree in elementary education. I grew up in Huntsville, AL as well as Birmingham, AL in the later years of my time in the public school system. I am a lover of reading and books, and that is something I hope to instill in my future students. I hope to become an activist for my school system and future students. Thank you for visiting my site!
